Right-clicking on the Animate Preview window in Virtuoso and selecting ‘Edit’ opens a native Animate window. 
In the Animate window you can:

• Set the design style (mirror symmetry vs. non symmetrical)

• Set match constraints

• Set net critical paths

• Add dummy devices

• Move devices

• Create and/or modify guard rings

The Animate window consists of several sub-windows.

• The Hierarchy dock window
• The Colors dock window
• The Results dock window
• The Schematic window
• The Constraints window
• The Wall
