Viewing the layout preview
Cross-probe
Selecting instances in the schematic view will "cross-probe" to the Animate Preview assistant and select the corresponding layout instances in the layout preview. Try selecting the differential pair, as shown below.
Getting a larger preview
To see a larger version of the layout preview, left-click on the preview image or right-click over the layout preview to access the RMB menu and select "Enlarge Preview".
A new window will open that contains a larger preview of the layout.
The colors indicate different features of the layout preview.
- Red and Green show symmetry in the placement.
- Gray instances are dummy devices
- Blue lines are guard rings
Selecting instances in the schematic will cross-probe with the enlarged preview window in the same way as the Animate Preview assistant window.
